My heart and prayers go out to Anne Rice, but I know God will not let her go. I agree this Christian life is a working out of our salvation, as the Bible states, which is also nicely laid out in Rev. Dr. Sheldon E. Williams's book, "Principle Centered Living." The author writes about getting practical and practicing ethical principles, which has really helped me in my own walk. I highly recommend this one :}.

Such a God-honoring & “truth spoken in love” response. I love how the Gospel continues to remind us believers that we have the ministry of reconciliation while confronting us with our own inadequacies and need to receive and give grace to others. Our need to receive grace and give it seems to multiply as the years increase and, truly, as we do life together.

As usual Mark Driscoll is succinct and well spoken! I am disappointed in the way many people are responding to this. I want to pray for anyone who is struggling in their walk while they work things out with God. Phil 2:12 says, “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
